Sr. Anne James Guerin, F.M.S.C.,
Provincial Superior

Sr. Anne James Guerin - a native of Hastings-on-Hudson, NY, an FMSC for 46 and teacher for 44 years, of late at St. Joseph of the Palisades High School in West New York, NJ, former principal of St. Columbanus School in Peekskill, NY and Immaculate Conception School in Irvington, NY, Volunteer Prison Minister (while teaching full time) at Bedford Hills and Taconic Correctional Facilities, served as Provincial Councilor and as Assistant Provincial, graduate of Ladycliff College and Manhattan College.  email: sajfmsc@mail.com


Sr. Laura Morgan, F.M.S.C., 
Assistant Provincial Superior

Sr. Laura Morgan - a native of Elmwood Park, NJ, presently is Pastoral Associate at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in White Plains, NY, working mainly with the elderly and homebound, an FMSC for 34 years, former Provincial Councilor, Pastoral Care Worker at St. Agnes Hospital in White Plains, NY, Principal of Franciscan High School and teacher and certified Montessori teacher of primary grades, heavily involved in volunteer Prison ministry at Taconic and Bedford Hills Correctional Facility mainly as music minister for weekly Mass, graduate of Ladycliff College, St Nicholas Training Center in London, England for Montessori Certificate and St. Bonaventure University


Sr. Rose Cecilia Bozzo F.M.S.C.
Provincial Counselor

Sr. Rose Cecilia Bozzo - originally from NY city, just finished her 6th year as Provincial Superior, an FMSC for 43 years and a teacher and Principal in several of our schools for 31 years, sister served as Directress of Ministry and Educational Liason for the Sisters, Principal of St. Leo's School in Elmwood Park, NJ, Immaculate Conception School in Irvington, NY of Franciscan High School in Lake Mohegan, NY and of Holy Rosary School in Port Chester, NY before becoming Provincial Superior, graduated from Pace University  as a Business Major and from Pace University School of Administration and Supervision.


Sr. Teresina Thoravasseril, F.M.S.C.
Provincial Counselor

Sr. Teresina Thoravasseril - born in Kerala, India, has been an FMSC for 34 years, is presently the Local Superior of Mt. St. Francis our Motherhouse and home of our retired and infirm Sisters and the Directress of Nursing of the Sisters' Infirmary there, received her nursing degree in Italy where she was Directress of Nursing of our infirmary there and also of a large nursing home there.

 


Sr. Anne Mathew Carlone, F.M.S.C.
Provincial Counselor

Sister Anne Matthew Carlone was born in New Jersey and received her elementary and secondary education by the same Franciscan Sisters whose community she entered at Peekskill , NY . Having made her profession of vows, Sister continued her spiritual, professional and then academic studies at Fordham University where she obtained a Masters Degree in Educational Administration and Supervision. This prepared her to accept the obedience to teach at St. Bonaventure, Paterson, NJ for several years and then to serve as an elementary school principal in St. Patrick, Yorktown, NY, Our Lady of the Holy Angels, Little Falls, NJ and Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, Boonton NJ. During her 6 years serving on the General Council of her Congregation in Rome Italy , she visited the Sisters' missions in Africa and South America . Sister is presently serving on the Provincial Council, teaching in St. Joseph School , West New York , NJ . and is helping on the vocation  promotion activities.
